Bold Goodbyes

In recent months I have been preparing myself to say farewell to a long-standing circumstance in my life. As it turns out I’ve learned to realize and accept that some things are just not good for me. Sure many of our life experiences have merit and positive return, but when the scales are weighted and the challenging aspects outweigh the positives, it’s time to move on.  Any situation, be it a job, a relationship, a marriage, a friendship whatever, is never worth your health or inner peace. In my case, the truth is…it just wasn’t worth it.

In the last 50+ blogs I have written, I have expressed that self-love and acceptance are paramount to happiness. In a non-hypocritical approach to my life, I am happy to say that the stress of releasing the situation is much preferred, when I consider myself, over the issues with going back because it’s easier.

So…as I say good-bye to the past, I look forward to what my life will bring. Some people who are more risk averse in their own lives might think that I’ve gone mad. What I will say to my critics is “do you.” Let your life reflect your decisions and may you be open to receive all of your life’s blessings.

If bridges were burned, I accept that as part of the process although that was not my intention.  Check out my prior blog Burning Bridges Fallin Down for my perspective.

To the friends (and I don’t use that term lightly) that I leave behind, know that true friendships will withstand the test of time, some for a reason, and some for a season. And finally to those who chose to criticize me or my decision, I wish you every possible blessing of awesomeness and greatness for every critical word you speak!

Goodbye with boldness!

Love, Light, and Bold Goodbyes!
