IS enough really ENOUGH?

How many of ya’ll are confused by the statement “I AM ENOUGH” or the question “AM I ENOUGH“?

Well, I have to say, “I am!”  Some self-help, life-affirming statements, when overused (especially here in Los Angeles CA (US)) get very confusing.  Every guru, coach, TEDtalk speaker, and YouTuber have their interpretations.   We have to wade through the muck and decide what resonates with us.

Frankly, quite often, none of it does, so we create our own!

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the definition of the word “enough” is as follows:

Enough:  “occurring in such quantity, quality, or scope as to fully meet demands, needs, or expectations.

Let’s break this down…

Is this what we really want to be?  Are we all here in this life hoping at best to “meet”  demands, needs or expectations?

Well, let me say it for you… “Hells no!”

I know, life can knock us around like we’re in a heavyweight fighting championship.  And during these challenges, we question decisions we made, the way we managed something or the way we treated a person.  This questioning can lead to feelings of inadequacy, regret, and may cause us to be really hard on ourselves.

BUT, we should never question our deservedness of the absolute best in our lives. Have we made mistakes? Yep, and we’ll make more.  Do our mistakes define who we are?  Nope!

We all are Exceedingly MORE than ENOUGH!

Here are a few sample daily affirmations that can help you realize your individual MORE THAN ENOUGHNESS…

I am exceedingly more than enough and I deserve:

  • to be treated with kindness, love, and respect in all areas of my life
  • to be in a healthy, loving, romantic, and committed relationship
  • to have exceedingly more than enough abundance in all areas of my life
  • to be surrounded by true and lasting friendships with people who have my best interests at heart
  • to exceed my career and business goals

Feel free to create your own!  Heck, turn your goals into affirmations!  Look at yourself in the mirror every day preferably in the morning and state your affirmation(s) with joy, commitment, and authority.  If you’re not feeling it, “fake it till you make it!”

Use your affirmation(s) to repeat in your mind:

  • when your negative self-talk gets going
  • in any scenario where you feel your affirmational goals or needs are not being met

Let me say it to you again… “You are exceedingly more than enough!”  And if you’re mama didn’t tell you… “You are a rockstar!”

Stop settling for being “enough!”

I’ve had enough of being enough!
